Are you still wondering if you can have Delta-9 legally without cops sniffing around you.

We have some exciting news for you, unless you have already heard. Delta-9, if derived from Hemp, is absolutely legal in Mississippi! Hurrah!

Let us break it down for you. Delta-9, the most abundantly found THC in cannabis plants, is responsible for the intoxicating effect some bad boys love. But as per the 2018 Farm Bill, if it is derived from Hemp and at or below 0.3% concentration by dry weight, the cops will behave gently because that source and concentration is absolutely legal in all 50 states.
Can you have Delta-9 THC in Mississippi? Legally?
Hemp-Derived Delta-9 is legal in Alabama. This was made possible by the enactment of the 2018 Farm Bill which legalized Hemp cultivation. Which automatically legalized all Hemp products.

Senate Bill 2725, commonly known as the Mississippi Hemp Cultivation Act, was signed into law by Governor Tate Reeves on June 29, 2020. This bill allowed the production of hemp, as well as the use of isomers, cannabinoids, and hemp derivatives.

Senate Bill 2725
SECTION 1. Short title; exclusivity. This act shall be known as the "Mississippi Hemp Cultivation Act." The regulation of hemp cultivation and processing shall be governed exclusively by the provisions of the Mississippi Hemp Cultivation Act. A municipality, county or other political subdivision of this state shall not enact, adopt or enforce a rule, ordinance, order, resolution or other regulation that allows, prohibits or penalizes the cultivation, production or processing of hemp in this state.

(d) "Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol" means the sum of the percentage by weight of tetrahydrocannabinol acid multiplied by eight hundred seventy-seven thousandths (0.877) plus the percentage by weight of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol.

(g) "Hemp" means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than three-tenths percent (0.3%) on a dry weight basis that is grown or processed under Sections 1 through 11 of this act.

Section 8:
(1) If a hemp grower violates the State Plan, including growing hemp containing a delta-9- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration that exceeds three-tenths percent (0.3%) on a dry mass basis or a tolerance range as specified by USDA, with a culpable mental state greater than negligence as determined by the department, the commissioner shall immediately report the violation and the hemp grower to the United States Attorney General, the Mississippi Attorney General and the Mississippi Public Safety Commissioner.
What is Delta-9 THC?
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol is referred to as Delta-9 or Delta-9 THC. Together with Delta-8 and CBD, it is the most prevalent cannabinoid present in hemp and cannabis plants. Because of its abundance, delta- 9—often referred to as simply THC—is the psychoactive ingredient that gives users of cannabis or hemp their "high feeling." Though marijuana has a far greater THC content than hemp, it's important to keep in mind that marijuana and products derived from it are illegal in the US according to federal law.
Is Delta 9 Safe to Use?
You won't perish, that's for sure! It is very safe for consumption. However, because it is psychoactive, you should exercise caution. Despite the 0.3% allowed concentration, the effects of Delta-9 produced from hemp may differ from person to person. First-time users in particular should start out slowly.

It is advised that you take Delta-9 during your free time and refrain from using heavy machinery, driving, biking, or swimming after or while using Delta-9 THC. Indeed, stay away from it if you play sports, have a drug test coming up, or are a nursing or pregnant mother. To fully experience the euphoric effects of Delta-9 THC, it is preferable to take it while unwinding or engaging in creative activity.
