AN ACT
Regarding hemp; amending Title 22 of the Idaho Code by adding a new Chapter 17 to provide a short title, legislative intent, define terms, provide for hemp research and production, and regulate hemp; amending Section 37-2701 of the Idaho Code to revise a definition and define a term; amending Section 37-2705 of the Idaho Code to provide an exception for certain hemp concerning tetrahydrocannabinol; and amending Section 37-2732 of the Idaho Code to correct a code reference.

22-1703. Definition.
In this chapter, "hemp" refers to the Cannabis sativa L. plant and any part thereof, including its seeds and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration not exceeding three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) on a dry weight basis.
